El dorado is a beautiful town situated on the Parana River, north east of Argentina. It´s on the hills of Misiones, in the area called “the rainforest zone”. It was founded in 1919 by a German pioneer, called Adolfo Schwelm. It´s surrounded by nature, with beautiful trees, rivers and all kinds of birds and butterflies. It near many waterfalls and streams, absolutely enjoyable! And only 100 km far from Iguazu Falls.
The Iguazu airport is 100 km from El dorado, and it´s near Brazil and Paraguay, 100 km from what is called “The three borders point”.
From El dorado, there are buses to and from all provinces and main cities of Argentina.
